busy doing nothing

Oh my gosh I have been so busy I havnt had much time to write, but the wierd thing it is really doing nothing..but everything. Most of my days are filled with baby holding which I am happy to do for sure but it makes other task very difficult! So when she is asleep I do the dishes and clean up the immedient area and thats really all I have time to do before my precious girls wakes up and is starving :)
We did get the chance to go to peoria to visit Stevens family before he went back to work and It was tons of fun! I cant wait to visit again!
I also had the chance to make a scrapbook page the other day while Zoe was asleep and it has definatly encouraged me to do more..she has so many pictures already that I can do so many different things with! more later...

relaxation

Things are good! For Christmas my wonderful husband got me a gift certificate to get a manicure and pedicure, so today he watched the baby for an hour and a half while I got the most amazing manicure and pedicure! I loved it! I think every woman should make that a must have a least once a year it was so relaxing!
Steven has the next two weeks off and I am so happy I get to spend so much time with him, I think we need this time together like this we havnt had this much time together since we moved to illinois and that was to stressful to even really enjoy.
Im also thinking about starting Zoes scrapbook next week because I got a few very cool scrapbooking stickers and an album for christmas. We got her picures developed last week and ever since I have been thinking of pages and I have so many in mind to do I dont know what to start off with :)

Sunrise or sunset
What's in a sunrise?
Another day of unpredictable events
Another journey down a winding road
with the occasional dark cloud or two
Eyes reborn
So that secrets of yesterday
cannot foretell stories of tomorrow
...today
A new day begun

Though these eyes...my eyes
Become one with the sunset
with you
Sunrise may bring
new eyes, new beginnings, new secrets
But if heaven chose to take me now
Peace would be still in me
for all time
For each sunset I was allowed to
witness with you
Always brought an ending no less
then happily ever after

starting out on our own

So my family left this morning to go back home, they have been here since the week before Zoe was born and have helped us out soo much! I have had a slight breakdown since they left this morning because they have helped out so much and when they left I realized "this is it! we are finally on our own" to take care and be resposible for this little tiny human and its scares me to death!! with the reassurance of my husband and one look and Zoes sweet little face it gives me enough courage to suck it up and do the best I can.
I am so glad God made the need for babies to sleep alot when they are little, that way parents can ease into parenthood somewhat, as much as I adore her and love holding her it is comforting to know that I can put her in her little swing and she will sleep for a few hours ( like right now so I can cleanup or whatever i need to do)it makes my heart go out to the moms that have colicy babies :(

I love to take picures of my beautiful little angel, so the other day I did a few black and white ones with her adorable fluffy shoes..(which got eaten by the dog this morning and i was VERY upset about) and my amazing friend Heather( thank you so much again:) edited them for me and here they are ...

A new year and a new mom!

Sadly this is my very first blog! but then again this is a year for first. On December 21,2009 My first baby Zoe Nicole was born at 1:20 pm. weighing 6lbs and 9 oz. and she was 18.5 inches long, so everything this year will be a first for her and for me as a brand new mom, starting with her very first real bath on January 1, which she absolutly LOVED!
I am so excited about being a mom everything that happens is new and exciting.
